Just a friendly reminder… 🚌 Today is an early release day for students. ✅ Report card conferences are tonight! 🏫 Please make sure you have signed up with your child’s teacher for a conference between 2:00-4:00 pm and 5:00-7:00 pm.

Retakes are available for new or absent students and staff, as well as anyone who would like a new photo. If you’re requesting a retake, please return your original photo package to the photographer. Replacement photos are free of charge, and no preorder is needed. Proofs and ordering information will be sent home about four weeks after Retake Day. 📅 Wednesday, November 19, 2025

🐝 2025 Conte Fluency Bee 🐝 ➕➖✖️➗ 🐝 Our students have been studying and working hard at memorizing their math facts. Our 1st graders are working hard at their addition facts, 2nd graders subtraction facts, 3rd graders multiplication facts, 4th graders division facts and 5th graders multiplication and division facts. Our 1st place recipients have all secured a spot at the district bee in March 2026. Good luck to all and continue working hard. Keep up all of the good work practicing in school and at home. ➕➖✖️➗ 🐝

The Great Turkey Give!
Conte families please register for the Great Turkey Give by scanning the QR code. Conte families will have a separate pick up time from 2:00-3:00 on November 21, 2025.

Dear Conte Community,

Our community, especially our students with Jamaican and Caribbean heritage, stands united with Jamaica during this challenging time. This hurricane has deeply impacted our extended family, and we're rallying to show our support. We're calling on our Lions - particularly those with roots in the Caribbean - to help by donating supplies, writing heartfelt letters of hope, and standing in solidarity with those affected.
If you can't make the drop-off location and date, please bring donations to Conte's main office throughout this week. Every contribution matters, whether it's non-perishable food, home essentials, clothing, personal hygiene items, or a monetary donation. Our students of Jamaican and Caribbean descent are invited to share their stories, write compassionate cards, and help their community heal.

📣 Update for the Book Character Dress Up Day: ⏰ As the weather forecast calls for high winds and colder temperatures on Friday, we will have ALL students, PreK-Grade 4, participate in the Character Parade from 10:00-10:30 am. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you! 🌧️ We will keep you posted, if the weather does not permit for us to be outside.

📚 Book Character Dress-Up Day! 🎭 We are excited to celebrate our annual Book Character Dress-Up Day! Students are invited to come dressed as their favorite book character for a $1 donation. Please remember: • Costumes must be connected to a book. • No drastic face paint, masks, or headgear, please. Parade Schedule: 📖🐷 Pre-K & Kindergarten: 10:00–10:30 🐭🍪 1st & 2nd Grade: 10:30–11:00 📚🐉 3rd & 4th Grade: 11:00–11:30 (3rd Grade will join at 11:10, after specials) We cannot wait to see our favorite stories come to life! 📖✨

 Please join us this Wednesday for a special evening of music, culture, and community as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! 🕠 5:30 pm- Concert featuring performances by: * Grades K-4 students * The Conte Chorus * Select students in Grades 7 & 8 * Community Members 🍽 Food Tasting to Follow
